Mmm! it was lovely!

Used medium chillies rather than mild as that's all Tesco had, but although it had a little kick it wasn't hot.

There's enough left for tomorrow night too for hubby & I as daughter doesn't want it 2 days running :-)

Dottie

I have never heard of Bhel Puri

I have just googled and I will certainly give it a try.

I make a fabulous hot and spicy Tarka Dhal.

Don't feed it to your Donkey though!

Tizzy?

I am what I am
I don't want praise I don't want pity
I bang my own drum
Some think it's noise I think it's pretty

And so what if I love some garlic and some chilli
Why not try to be a silly billy
Your life is a shame
Till you can shout out....... I am what I am!

:-D :-D :-D

"Tastes" haven't changed for me........But what I have found, is that certain Ingredients no longer agree with me.

I can eat a Vindaloo and a Tindaloo curry.

I love garlic........but if I have it for an evening meal, i now spend half the night tossing and turning and my mind seems to be all of a frenzy.

It doesn't stop me eating it though!

:-D

Sausage and mash for you then Kay. ;-)

Do tastes change as we age? OH likes spicy food, the spicier the better. He used to prefer 'mild'. From the same starting point, I've gone in the other direction. :-S
