RolloTheRed - fantastic!

But not as good as the numer of laughs I've had today while reading 'The Book of Irish Mammies' (Isn't It Well For Ye!) by Colm O'Regan.

And there's more!

Dropbox can be a lot more useful if it has a drive letter associated with it. This is ez to do from the command line using this short command:

subst E: "C:\Users\UserName\Dropbox"

where any free drive letter can be used in place of E:, enter yr own username.
The command can also be saved to a batch file eg dropbox.bat which can be invoked from startup items.

To get a command line invoke "Run" from the startmenu and enter "cmd" (without the quotes.).

Once set you can use all the usual folder commands on yr dropbox either from the command line or using Explorer.

This tip can be brought to you 'cos I have nothing much else to do and am v hungry 'cos lunch is late. It is late 'cos the plumber used an old water supply hose for the new dishwasher and the seal burst making a right mess.... I was up until 2am and had to rush out and buy a new hose this morning. Thank heavens for SureStop.

Yeah, I know, don't run dishwashers unattended .... well afaik that mainly applies to Bosch and Beko, possibly Samsung and the fault was with the hose not the dishwasher. Wash by hand ? The breakage rate rules that right out.

Meanwhile the smell of roasting Welsh leg of lamb is driving me nuts.
