Brown girl in the ring
In the summertime

Anything by Frank Sinatra. God knows why I must have had a serious acoustical defect. Now he is my no.1.

The worst ever pop song was Chirpy chirpy cheep cheep. I think the band was called something like Middle of the Road. I was working in a factory financing my stay at uni and the tannoy put this dirge on every 20 mins or so.

Puppet On A String. My younger sister used to play it over, and over, and over again.

She left the arm off the record player, so it just kept on, and on, and on!

I can still hear it in my head...........

Boom-boom-boom-boom-boom-bip-bip

:-P :-P :-P :-P

My mum was an avid fan of Jim Reeves - talk about depressing. :-(

Then I found this on YouTube: :-D :-D

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JaEGlYFhnRc

This is regularly played, either by myself or my sister, at family gatherings.
Embarrasses the children as we (sis & I) are laughing so much, we even admit to nearly - that's nearly - wetting our pants.

I particularly like the line: "he saved me from the chargin' bull that gored my Dad to death"
