OK My question is. If you go to a talk or similar where the speaker uses a hand held mic, and there is no loop system. Can you hear that talk clearly or is it muffled/fuzzy, not clear?

Hubby was at a rugby dinner last night where they had several speakers who used microphones and he said he could hear quite clearly apart from a short time when there was a lot of noise in the room, but it wasn't muffled.

Ok thanks. Maybe our speaker spoke too close to the mic.

there is an art to using a mike, on stage............

the speaker has either "got it" or he hasnt!

the speaker at our club, definitely hasn't!
