Been to lunch with our daughter and grandson

She arrived too with lovely flowers so they are in a vase with hubbies photo in front

We had a nice lunch and some reminiscing

Had a couple of glasses of rose too to toast him and hope he is ok wherever he is

Just had a beautiful basket arrangement of flowers delivered from Michael's sister Joan with a card saying 'thinking of you '

Such a lovely thing to do , gave me tears again

Joan is 18 months younger than Michael and she lost her hubby 3 years ago .

Thinking of you Shirley, hopefully each year will get a little bit easier. You were together such a long time that you have so many happy memories but also because of the long time it is hard to learn to live without part of you missing. Enjoy your lunch with your daughter, that is a lovely idea of hers that she won't let you be alone today. You go on speaking to Michael's photo. My Dad used to always have flowers under my Mum's photo after she died. <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3

Thinking of you Shirley.

You've done so well in the last year and will continue to do so with the help of your lovely family.

Hold on to those special memories.

One year ago I lost my darling hubby Michael

It's been a hard year with lots of tears but also with some lovely family moments including a family wedding

Our daughter has taken a days holiday and is coming to take me to lunch as she doesn't want me to be alone today

Her stepson is the lad I have in the holidays and he will stay over with me for the rest of the week .

It was yesterday I had tears again as I talked to his photo telling him how much I miss him and wished he was here.

This morning I feel a bit numb and down
