I love to visit York around Christmastime.

We were lucky once to visit between Xmas and New Year's Eve when the snow was on the ground. What a picture! The Shambles was wonderful with lights on and snow underfoot - really magical, I thought.

My fav in York - climb on to the City Walls and walk around. It's lovely to get to treetop height and see the squirrels from almost a bird's eye view. On a warm day it's a brill walk. :-D
