With all these 'baking' programmes, surely most of the viewers must now know how to create a bun in the oven & such like. Nobody will care a jot what icing message you add to the product.

So, give that put-upon NI bakery a bit of slack.

I watched the whole series, and I wouldn't have put my money on Candice at the start, but as the final progressed I reckoned she would win.

As for whether I watch next year, a lot will depend on who the new presenters are. If I do, I shall certainly record it, so that I can skip the commercial breaks.

I watched the final, Belle, although that's all I usually do watch of the programme.
