Last week, I bought a bag of 'misshapen' parsnips (it contained about 6) from Sainsbury's for 30p.
This week, in the local Tesco's they were selling 'spooky' (ie misshapen) parsnips for Halloween at 30p EACH!!

I thought it was 30p a bag :-S

There was a picture showing brown bags to fill with 5 pieces of veg for 30p.

Lyndi, that's what I initially thought.

Definitely had misshapen parsnips - and carrots with a sign saying 'Spooky vegetables - 30p each'

Maybe they got the wrong message from head office :-S
