I got my new little 4 year old dog from a Rescue Centre in September. She only stands about 12 inches high to her shoulders but goes like the wind too. So I enjoyed the power walking. Now I'm afraid I have had to slow her down as I bought some wellies that have turned out to be rather heavy, not for her... for me.!!

She is a stubborn little madam too as if I want to go a certain way and she doesn't she stops and won't budge another inch. I keep telling her I am the boss but to no avail. :-D :-D

We do both. My dog Tegan is a Lurcher so we power walk, I let her of the lead, she runs like the wind. Then we mosey on back home. Great.

I'd like to power walk but Ralphie likes to mosey...so we mosey :-(

In fact my walks are very much like PiC's :-D. He too would like to mark every tree and lamp post and often ends up just going through the motions :-D

Both, my dog likes to have a sniff around then she's off to her next area she wants to investigate. We mosey around the areas she likes to check on but we power walk between, that's if about a dozen steps can count as power walking. :-D

On the beach with her long lead she walks twice as far as I do as she investigates both sides of the path.

I have never had a dog I could seriously power walk with. They all wanted to investigate too much and the male tried to mark every tree and lamp post in the area. :-)

Do you power walk or mosey?
