I colour on my lap with no problem and do it while (half) watching TV. Another way is with one of the lap boards. When I first started doing it there was not much choice in colouring books. Last christmas I had four of the larger ones given to me and, added to the smaller ones I have bought myself I think they will now last me the rest of my life!! I do seem to have pencils (which are what I choose to colour with) out of control though. Always searching for the perfect pencil. (colour and texture).

Liz, I have the same problem re tables so I invested in a good strong clipboard, a very good buy as I can now sit in my armchair and colour to my hearts content.

It's the newish 'in' thing, I was given one last Christmas but I rarely find time to do any colouring as you need to sit at a table, or I do, and we don't have a dining rable, coffee /side tables are too low

When Fred first came home from hospital I made him take up colouring to get his hand doing something.

Well, he wasn't going to colour pictures of toys and fairies and I had the Devil's own job to find suitable pictures for him. Luckily, spending hours downloading from the internet and searching out some books at Hobbycraft, kept him quiet for a bit but there was not that much to be had.

Last week we took the old biddies to a garden centre and the shelves wer absolutely groaning with colouring books for grown ups!
