I have two good sanders in cases that are somewhere in the shed where the three stooges have put them.

OH was sent out to find them and came in with the old one he was supposed to have thrown away but put in the shed for reasons I cannot begin to understand.

He now thinks the kitchen table is where you keep a sander that doesn't work any more.

We have enough jam in the cupboard and I am still not up to speed so I decided that I probably wouldn't do any preserving at all this year.


So, why, I wonder, is my kitchen table supporting, four jars of pickled onions, five jars of mincemeat (one of them is one of those big jars that hold the Lidl gherkins I am addicted to), three jars of green tomato jam, a bottle of tomato ketchup, two bottles of liqueur made from rowan berries, a cake, a dozen mince pies and a sander that doesn't work?
