	Well I spent a FORTUNE in the £1 shop today! :-0 :-0 :-D :-D :-D a new feeder for my birds with seeds. Suet and mealworm pellets, dried mealworms. Things for the baby- a dish, rattle, portable changing mat, and lots of treats for all of us :-0 I had a fleece jacket I'm rather pleased with for £5 ... in the £1 shop lol :-D :-D :-D

	Jen, we lost Poundland and Poundstretcher from our shopping centre this year and I liked to mooch around them. We gained a Wilco and The Works is about ready to open up too. Both shops good for mooching. :-D

	By the way, your birds will never leave you. :-D What a variety you give them. We have seeds and fatballs, that's it.

	We have had Wilko for a lot of years in the town centre. The town doesn't do very well now, as we have 2 Retail Parks just down the road from me, with free parking. The town is mostly cheapy shops (which I love) banks, shoe shops, charity shops, a Boots and an Asda. All the big shops are in the retail park now.

	It's been seeds and fat balls until today Joy. They have lived in my hedge for quite some years. Recently I read that the sparrow population is down by 80%, so I want to do my bit to help them through the winter :-) It's also easier than having a pet. I am missing having a pet. I have had cats and dogs, and especially miss the dog, particularly since GS1 left home ... no one to mother! :-D

	Same here Jem. Our retail park is a short walk for me - a shorter walk than a walk into town (a very smm town too). Loads of charity shops in the centre of town too.

	There was a sad story in our local paper this week. A couple were walking their little whippet who had heart problems along the beach front. She bolted when she heard the fireworks and they couldn't find her. She was washed up on the beach abut 5 miles away, the following day. :-( :-( :-(

	Jem, no dogs or cats here. When the kids were little we had goldfish and hamsters but we never took them for a walk. :-D :-0 :-D
