Oh seriously do you honestly think they don't all lie just to get elected !!

Show me a truly honest politician and maybe they'll be sitting next to the Easter bunny.

At my coffee morning a couple of points were made.

1. Why didn't Hil attack him in the last couple of days before the election and after she had been 'cleared' of the email accusations?

2. Is it because she had something to hide?

3. While I thought she behaved with statesmanlike restraint, was it because the fight had gone out of her? And see 2 above.

4. We were amazed that her envoy sent everyone home; where was she with her thanks and gratitude to those who helped with her campaign? A sore loser, heartily sick of it all or still hoped to be a winner? Certainly it was not her honourable moment.

5. We thought she should leave everyone to get on with it, retire to a lovely island and enjoy her family and all that life has to give.

6. Give the hair-chucker the slip before he tackles her again as he has promised to do.

7. Will she kick Bill into touch though? ;-)

Hilary Clinton has a very good understanding of the law and many years of experience of the workings of government.

What President (oh dear) Trump has I really could not say.

He has a lovely hairdo.

Brexit - I wasn't conned - I voted for out!!!

They had no faith in HC and distrust her, perhaps they thought its time for fresh blood to take the helm,,,,,,he gets 4 years to put his money where his mouth is.......I hope he does well the the US people

I wonder how many more protest type votes there have to be before those in charge start to wake up to the fact people are fed up !!
I don't like Trump but then Clinton wasn't much better just different.

I watched the coverage all night - yes I am that sad!

It's all very well having 'celebs' support a candidate but that doesn't compare to the 'military' support and the weight it carries.

She is definitely the most distrusted candidate for decades and just goes to show how Bernie Sanders would probably have carried the majority vote if he had stayed in the race.

It's very telling that Clinton has not made a public appearance and US commentators have stated just how disrespectful that is to her team and supporters.

Interesting times ahead, let's hope he appoints to right people to advise.

Polly, the poor kid was absolutely dead on his feet through exhaustion.

What I find most surprising is that a country that has in excess of 318 million people have had to choose between these two. Not a choice I would like to make.


I have been watching Trumps "victory " speech, the young man at his side whom I assume to be his son. Poor chap look decided uncomfortable, his body language spoke volumes to me.

God help America. God help the world!
