I have caught up with old friends/acqaintances through individual searches on facebook. If they are colleagues or school friends finding one will often lead to more. Good luck with your search. Reunions are fun

Assuming you are on facebook, you could look for a page related to the area/work place or set up one of your own. Also look for the profiles for the people you can remember.

Linkedin is somewhere where people post their CV'. It might be worth a look

If you have specific names, you could start a thread on Find Living Relatives. Give as much detail as you can. eg place/area, names including maiden name if applicable, approx year of birth, name of spouse, children, other relatives.
Sometimes if we can't trace the named person, we may be able to find contact details for a close relative who could put you in touch.

Don't forget to use the Seach All Member Trees, top right under search, and contact anyone who you think lists the name.

Hi,

I know that this website is for finding people you are related to and putting your family tree together - both of which I have done and am still doing - however, I am trying to reconnect with some people that I worked with back in the 70s and perhaps organise a reunion. Since the 'Friends Reunited' website has now closed down, I'm not sure where to go to put out an appeal for my ex-colleagues. So I was just wondering if anyone on here knows of a website that is helpful in finding old friends/colleagues? I would be really grateful for any helpful suggestions

Thank you
Jackie
