	Off to the old biddies club of which I am a member. Last week's meeting was most productive. Most of it was taken up with trying to sort out what everybody would be having for the Christmas Lunch but, around that, the meeting started with two plates of chips from the bar, big plates but they were all eaten. After this the hands started to go down into bags and we moved on to mini stollens, Viennese whirls, custard creams, mint imperials and some liquorice as well as the cups of tea. Then, of course, they all went home to cook tea!
