	We didn't wash up last night because I said I would do it today and then forgot until I went into the kitchen to get my lunch. I am trying to get this patchwork finished so that I can have it quilted, after forty odd years of making it so I have spent the day drawing and cutting out templates and material, all the while thinking up something to say to OH to excuse myself from washing up, just as I learned to do as a very small child to my mother. Then I thought that, if I went out and washed up, it would take me about five minutes and I would not have to make any excuses, so I did and now I don't have to. I am still unlearning nasty things from my childhood and so is he!
