I went back to find it - looking at the pictures very closely - there are some good looking people :-D

Found the shop - It spans two shop fronts!! :-D :-D

Maggiewinchester I don't mind at all Bainbridge is the store and my G G Grandmother was Georgiana Bainbridge and the store is thought to be the first department store in Europe or maybe the world, now a John Lewis. :-D

Lovely pictures.
I'm always fascinated by the shoes and hats.

The 1960's and 1970's appears to be a decade that was determined to destroy beautiful buildings.

I read the comments underneath - unfortunately typically Daily Fail, and amazingly historically ignorant !! :-(
