I have uploaded 2 fresh gedcoms containing multiple additions in the last 6 months but, I haven't had any hot matches since 10 jun.

It was promised as part of our subs but, I don't think it exists any more.

My last hot matches were May 2016 and then they didn't find any. I have added loads of people since the. I don't think GR are bothering to use this facility anymore.

Researching:
Matthew and Jane Elwood who had my great great grandfather Francis Edward Elwood baptised in 1807 at Horsham Sussex. There is no sign of Matthew or Jane from this date and my great great grandfather was brought up as Francis Edward Elwood MITCHELL

I haven't had any hot matches for a very long time

Makes me wonder if they run the program anymore :-(

Mine was last run on 19th June, prior to that it was run about twice per month. So it looks like they don't run it any more. I have done updates to my tree since June.

Thank you +++DetEcTive+++. I will continue to do the searching myself but would have liked to compare some of the Hot Matches (the most recent of mine were dated May 2016) to see if there was anything of interest.

Some times it happens, other times is doesn't. The last time mine was run was on 5 Jun 2016. Other members may have more recent 'runs'.

Don't hold your breath - go and look for matches yourself either by checking the purple rosettes on your tree, or the 'search all member trees', top right under search.

I recently (more than two weeks ago) uploaded an updated tree to Genes Reunited which, of course, nullified the old Hot Matches. So, I deleted all of the old matches as I didn't want to get myself (and everyone else on the site) confused.

Since the upload, though, I have not seen any Hot Matches. There should be most of the ones associated with the names on the previous tree. None of the deleted matches matches information on my tree.

Can anyone tell me what is happening? :-S
