Here are the Anthems for the Sing-A-Long

WALES ~ MAE HEN WLAD FY NHADAU (Match Version)

Mae hen wlad fy nhadau yn annwyl i mi,
Gwlad beirdd a chantorion, enwogion o fri;
Ei gwrol ryfelwyr, gwladgarwyr tra mad,
Dros ryddid collasant eu gwaed

Gwlad, gwlad,
pleidiol wyf i'm gwlad.
Tra môr yn fur i'r bur hoff bau,
O bydded i'r hen iaith barhau.

Gwlad, gwlad,
pleidiol wyf i'm gwlad.
Tra môr yn fur i'r bur hoff bau,
O bydded i'r hen iaith barhau.

IRELAND's 2 (Perhaps only Ireland's Call will be sung tonight)

1. REPUBLIC OF IRELAND

A SOLDIER’S SONG
We'll sing a song, a soldier's song,
With cheering rousing chorus,
As round our blazing fires we throng,
The starry heavens o'er us;
Impatient for the coming fight,
And as we wait the morning's light,
Here in the silence of the night,
We'll chant a soldier's song.

Chorus:
Soldiers are we
whose lives are pledged to Ireland;
Some have come
from a land beyond the wave.
Sworn to be free,
No more our ancient sire land
Shall shelter the despot or the slave.
Tonight we man the gap of danger
In Erin's cause, come woe or weal
"Mid cannons" roar and rifles peal,
We'll chant a soldier's song.

In valley green, on towering crag,
Our fathers fought before us,
And conquered 'neath the same old flag
That's proudly floating o'er us.
We're children of a fighting race,
That never yet has known disgrace,
And as we march, the foe to face,
We'll chant a soldier's song.

2. IRU ANTHEM (Uniting both North and South of Ireland)

IRELAND'S CALL (Match Version - there are more verses)

Come the day and come the hour
Come the power and the glory
We have come to answer
Our Country's call
From the four proud provinces of Ireland

Ireland, Ireland
Together standing tall
Shoulder to shoulder
We'll answer Ireland's call

Ireland, Ireland
Together standing tall
Shoulder to shoulder
We’ll answer Ireland’s Call
We’ll answer Ireland’s Call

CONGRATULATIONS JUSTIN TIPURIC ~ 50th WALES CAP

When Justin Tipuric comes out on the pitch tonight to take up his place as a Flanker in the Wales Starting XV v Ireland, he will have won his 50th Wales Cap.

Justin was born on August 6th 1989 in Trebanos, Wales. He went to Cwmtawe Community School.

He played for Aberavon RFC from 2007 until 2011. He was signed for the OSPREYS in 2009 where he has earned 134 Caps.

He played for Wales U20s in 2008 & 2009. He was then called to Wales’ Senior Squad in 2011.

Justin was also called up for duty with the BRITISH & IRISH LIONS in 2013.

Like many Rugby Union players, Justin is of considerable stature. He is 6’ 2” and weighs 16st. 1lb.

WHAT IS JUSTIN MOST NERVOUS OF IN CONNECTION TO HIS CAREER LANDMARK? ....... SINGING!!

It’s been a tradition in the Wales Pack, that when a player achieves the 50 Cap goal- THEY MUST SING ... ON THEIR OWN .... PUBLICALLY ... IN FRONT OF THE REST OF THE TEAM!

He says he just cannot sing, and the only song he knows is MY GIRL by THE TEMPTATIONS!

JEM & THE GANG SEND THEIR CONGRATULATIONS TO JUSTIN TIPURIC .... along with his 50 Cap Present .... A PACKET OF LOCKETS!
