I cannot be bothered to argue with ignorance.......

Life is far too short and repetition of the truth tires me out.

If people are not prepared to read, read and read some more before regurgitating propaganda then that's just not a discussion I am willing to enter into.

There's none so blind etc.,

Caroline you just haven't read Kates book have you :-D

Caroline

Caroline Report 31 Jan 2017 22:18

And the reliable witness to that was ?? I assume the waiter ??........I'm totally guessing here but was he maybe paid for the report or just upset as maybe they didn't tip him well..........

JoyBoroAngel Report 31 Jan 2017 22:11

Did the Parent go looking for her
No they never

They went Jogging the next day
While the police and volunteers searched

At least the Police looked for the child :-( :-(

Caroline

Caroline Report 31 Jan 2017 22:07

Oh please.......do you remember everything 100% the same way when the thing you're trying to remember is so stressful....if so the courts would love you as a witness in any case you might ever be involved in. They're only human.......

JoyBoroAngel Report 31 Jan 2017 22:07

In Kates book she says herself
That she left the Twins again on their own
to go to the Tapas bar to inform the others Madeline was missing
Everybody then went back to their apartment
and the hotel staff where informed and most of them gathered there to

So what was the point of securing it
The crime scene was already contaminated :-( :-(

Exactly Joy, all their friends were invited to crawl over over 5a and therefore destroyed any possible useful evidence long before the PJ arrived.

However, if you are telling the truth your version never changes - curtains billowing - window shut - shutter jemmied - etc., etc.,

Give me one good reason why their story changed so much that is credible and I'll listen but that isn't going to happen is it?

Caroline

Caroline Report 31 Jan 2017 22:02

I think if my kid was missing sure I'd be getting people to help look for them...that's the real world.....wrong thing to do we know but you'd panic.....on TV you realise what's happened and you stop anyone entering until the police turn up.

Really the parents are at fault for that ??

JoyBoroAngel

JoyBoroAngel Report 31 Jan 2017 21:55

The crime scene wasn't secured
because the McCann's them selves
Had every Tom Dick and Harry Traipsing through the apartment
long before they called the police
The parents hindered the investigation numerous times

They notified the Media before they called the police
I find that strange

I cant say if the Parents did it or not I wasn't there
But I do know
If they had not left the children on their own it would not of happened :-( :-(

Caroline

Caroline Report 31 Jan 2017 21:51

The crime scene wasn't secured correctly nor the hire car, there were so many mistakes that mean a conviction will never happen. Should he profit from that ? There is no way he's getting nothing from the book even if just indirectly via TV appearances etc.
The parents almost certainly didn't kill her, but as I said before will always regret being stupid.

Guinevere
You have his book so wrong ;-)

supercrutch Report 31 Jan 2017 21:28

The man is financially destitute, why do you think people were donating money to his defence fund?

His evidence is based on the official cartas rogatorias both Portuguese and UK at the time.

Martin Grimes' report, the DNA matches which were analysed in the UK.

I personally wouldn't consider anyone's opinion on this sad case unless they had actually read as many official files as possible from the 1000s published.

The same applies to their audited accounts (again freely available) which make very interesting reading.

O I find It's immoral for parents to leave small children unattended while they eat and drink with there friends in a bar away from the apartment, but hey ho,

Guinevere

Guinevere Report 31 Jan 2017 21:18

I find all speculation about the disappearance of Madeleine in very poor taste. Amateur detectives are swapping conspiracy theories on some truly awful web pages.

His book is pure speculation by a man sacked from his job. He's laughing all the way to the bank now, I expect. Not a penny from me to add to the £344,000 he already has. And the rest he will get if the book is unbanned.

As I said, it's immoral for ex policemen to make money from cases they investigated.

The notification of an appeal was after the last time they lost in April 2016 not today.

The book written by Snr Amaral is FREE on the www unlike the book Kate McCann penned which was NOT.

The McCann lawyers arranged to have his booked taken from the book sellers and even after they were ordered to return them via the court - they did not.

His conclusions were accepted by the UK police and have not been disproved in any way, shape or form.

JoyBoroAngel

JoyBoroAngel Report 31 Jan 2017 21:08

His book is facts of the investigation
I couldn't put it down
I read his book for free on the internet

Not a its everybody else's fault but ours like Kates book ;-)
I paid for Kates book and it was rubbishj
