in a conversation the other day about re tuning musical instruments....

if you tuned a banjo to mandolin stringing

would it be a manjo
and on the other hand a mandolin to banjo
a banjolin?

one wag suggested stringing a flower pot to a violin..........

I actually received a Certificate when I joined the club for the first time, but not on the other numerous occasions ;-) :-D :-D :-D

I had one reported for saying "hello" :-S :-S :-S :-S

I got one taken for saying innocently Vaseline ;-) ;-)

A few postings will either amuse or offend some esoteric reader.

I think if it were paying members only allowed to RR then Genes could stop their membership with no refund so that would stop most if not all abuse.

I agree it should be paying members only, however i dont think thay would change anything

It matters if GR don't take action to deter abuse of the button. Only allowing paying members to report would be a great start.

Caroline but people do lynch folk, just because they find somthing unacceptable for a chat board, sadly on here folks opinions can change daily depending on who there friends with thay day, sad really but thats life,

the rr button has been a subject many a times and i find the more it annoys folks, n provokes threads the more it happens sadly.

yes guinevere, i do somtimes think its old memebrs lurking or free accounts, however it could be an exsisting member whos easily offended also, we can speculate till the cows come home, we are not guna ever no for sure, and does it really matter?

Some of you may remember the 1000 post thread about the Welsh clergyman who refused to be served by an English speaking shop assistant.

I had about 80 of my posts RRd on that thread and GR agreed they were all malicious and took the problem seriously.

It became a running joke as to how many of my posts would actually stay for more than 10 minutes.

Damned annoying, the person/s may not like me but in the end THEY became the subject of ridicule for being a complete twit!

I sometimes wonder if members from years ago still lurk and enjoy trying to cause a ruck.

Whereas in the recent past they just deleted the thread not actually look at it . So well done to them for actually looking at them now, does this mean one person is doing this and will get "told off" or are there a lot of people RRing at the moment, as that one thread had what four RR in the space of a few days.

Good to see my reported post has been restored on another thread. At least GR are looking at what's been reported.
