The Reformatory could be the Leeds East Moor Reformatory
http://www.childrenshomes.org.uk/LeedsEastMoor/

Again, at the bottom of the page are links to archived records

The Reformatory in Redhill, Surrey could be the Farm School run by the Philanthropic Society
http://www.childrenshomes.org.uk/Philanthropic/

You can download a list of the boy's names (1.2Mb) from here
https://tinyurl.com/zwr45yx (Surrey County Council's History Centre)

You could contact them to ask if they have any further records about his time there. Unless you can visit in person, they would charge a fee.
