I bought a 4 pack from our nearby Bargain Shop B*Ms at a much cheaper price than the supermarkets and it's lovely :-) :-) :-)

Hi Emms:-) and Barbra :-)

Emms, I googled the Bisphenol A that Rollo posted, and it's in the plastic bottles as well as cans.

Barbra, Rollo is right. They use the Bisphenol A to line the cans.
Cadbury's was taken over in 2010 by Mondelez International (originally Kraft Foods) and imo it hasn't tasted the same since :-| :-D

Thanks Rollo...I will look up about Bisphenol A.
Someone did tell me a while back that it was something to do with the cans, but he wasn't sure what!

Thanks Sue, you are right of course ....
.......but I wish my tastebuds would stop me loving sweet things :-D :-Dx

Bisphenol A which is applied to all cans everywhere except some Usa restrictions.
Enjoy

Have any of you noticed this?

When I was young, I loved tinned fish - sardines, tuna, salmon, pilchards, mackerel etc

For quite a few years now, there seems to be a bitter aftertaste to tinned fish.

I wonder why? :-S :-S :-S
