Just had an e-mail from Genes, I have just renewed & it was £8.96p for a year. Flipping good value I think. Keep renewing in the hope I will connect with someone, also for all the wonderful help you lot give me, so thanks everyone.

I also paid £8.96p for a year. Anyone who has been a continuous member from the early 2000's should pay the same. However, if you cancel your subscription or switch off "continuous" and then subscribe again at a later date then you do pay more.

Although I do think this is a little unfair, it is one of the things that keeps me renewing each year as although I'm not doing very much research these days it is well worth the money just to be able to use the community boards.

Me too, I have been a member since 2005 and have continuous membership so only paid £8.96. Over the years I have met some wonderful friends so am happy to pay such a small amount.
