Remembering My Dear Late Mum .she was my Best friend .1982 she passed away still miss her so much .sending lots of love & Thank You for being so special in our Lives <3 <3 Barbra & Family <3

Remembering my mam too. She died 19th March 2003 just a few days before Mother's Day that year and it seems just like yesterday. God Bless <3 <3 <3

Miss my mum too

She passed away in may 1980 just after her first grt grandson had been born

She knew he had arrived but not what he weighed etc as she lived in London and he was born in Wiltshire

I went to stay with daughter as she was coming out of hospital and we had taken loads of photos etc that I would have passed on

In those days home phones were not the norm so we hadn't been able to pass on the update on his birth

She was a lovely mum I remember group hugs as she sat legs akimbo with a kiddy on each leg and two standing in between and bigger kids doing the round robin outside

There was seven of us and she would manage a group hug so we all felt loved

Remembering my beautiful darling M I L who left us on Boxing day 2004. We all still miss her so very much <3 <3 <3 <3

My Mum who passed away 8th February 1959. So many Mother's Days missed :-( <3

Mother's Day was always close to my late Mum's birthday so this time of year is especially poignant. Mum enjoyed having her family around her altho sometimes my brothers would be absent having to go to their m.i.l.s instead. 22 Mother's Days missed now.

I look forward to spending time with my son on Mother's Day and I am lucky he lives in the same city as me.

I find it sad that my son's fiancee doesn't bother much with Mother's Day (or birthdays) altho she makes a big thing of Christmastime. I don't know if she sends her Mum a card etc but I know she isn't seeing her on Sunday and probably won't join us for the meal my son has booked at lunch time. Her son has been away for a week with his dad and family so says she will wait for his return, altho the restaurant is only up the road from their flat, so he could be dropped off there.
