My brother had both his knees replaced years ago - it means he can't kneel - but he's never prayed anyway.
One leg is mainly metal - the result of being T-boned twice riding motorbikes (which he still does).
He has a bit of occasional pain now (15 odd years after the event), but it's believed to be due to his lugging the shopping on and off the community bus he drives. :-S

Sorry to read you are suffering pain AnnC. I found a TENS machine really helpful when I had pulled ligaments in both knees. Acupuncture also worked to ease the
pain too. Both non invasive and no strong tablets to cause nasty side effects either.

Hope you soon get it sorted Ann.
We are survivors though and I also think a cortisone injection is a good idea!

Kay????

Kay???? Report 30 Mar 2017 22:15

Ouch,!!

doctor wont give you a corticosteroid injection in your knee if you have a damaged cartlidge ........it can cause more harm to the cartlidge as the steroid can break it down if over used .,,,,,,,then you will end up with bone on bone.

Well I know who has a wonderful decorated crutch...they may offer a loan of it if you ask nicely. :-D :-D.

rest it.
