Thomas latter owen disappears after 1903. That is where i am stuck. ?????

Puzzling. Think child in 1903 maybe my grandad. He was lodging with emma hart in 1901. ???? The plot thickens.

Ok,I thought with them being in the same area ie 1891/1901 and both were general labourers they might be one in the same person.
Plus the fact he deserted child born 1903 he maybe was married at the time.

Mary there were two Thomas Standen born Brighton about the same birth year

The Thomas who is being looked for didn't marry and jumped ship in Australia in c 1880

1891 48,Athol St Bromley.
Thomas Standon 34 married general labourer born Brighton
louisa wife 26 born Lambeth.

I can't find a marriage for these 2 or after 1891.

This is a massive help before myself and friend lose the plot. We are looking for Thomas Latter Owen Standen (Stander, Standing) born brighton 1855 ish after about 1903. He was in the Navy and has appeared on lines of enquiry up until this point. We have looked everywhere we can think. Possibly emmigrated Australia Usa or Canada but this is a guess. Its up until 1903 then nothing. We are stuck. You are wonderful people who help with these questions. A massive thankyou. X

You got him. Prison 1872 and mentioned again 1873/1874 re ttial which Elizabeth is being told off. ( thats putting it politely). He them disappears. His son Thomas Owen Latter Standen's mother was Mary J Standen. Thomas was a boarder in 1901 Emma Hart was head of the house. In 1911 no sigh of Thomas Latter Owen Standen but there is a son with Emma called Thomas Owen Baptised in 1903. Mum Emma dad Thoma we have put 2 and 2 together. Unable to find Thomas senior after this

Hi this gentlemas was found in Dorsetshire in 1871 with Elizabeth Standen.
I know there was a little trouble should we say with the law. After 1873 last time his name was mentioned he appears to have vanished. His son Thomas Latter Owen Standen is an even bigger mystery. On the 1901 census and on baptism on son Thomas Owen in 1903 then nothing seems to have vanished. Any help or surrgestionsvregarding these people would be wonderful. Thanks Debbie
