My sister refers to blue jobs and pink jobs but in reality she does absolutely nothing, unsurprisingly her relationships don't last long. |

Since his marriage, over 40 years ago, my brother has always done the washing, ironing, and more often than not, the cooking. |

My husband and I work on the theory that if one of us cannot do jobs the other one can and regardless of what colour that job is. |

In our house it depends on who gets to the bins first to either take out our bring back in. However I always do the messy food bin, it takes too long for OH to sort out what he is doing with it.he however always does the ironing and hoovers the floors, often empties the dish washer on his own although we usually empty it together. He also helps strip and remake the bed. But he rarely cooks. Always helps with the shopping and always cleans the cars. I generally do the washing but he can do it. |

as the only male in my house is my cat, it's up to me to do the bins - just done them - the recycling bags, the food bin and the general waste bin!! |

Its usually my job, simply because I know when 'dustbin day' is and he never even thinks about it. |

All work can be men's work as far as I'm concerned. It wouldn't bother me at all as long as they didn't think it was THIS woman's work. :-D |

I think that when the chance offers paid employment opportunities should be extended to those looking for them. Duties can extend to all sorts of things inc the English bin ceremonies. |
