I found this tv show quite creepy but am now getting into it - but then I read this on the BBC website:

That's awful. Would male employees be asked if they used contraception or fired/not hired if they'd had a vasectomy?

Even Eire/N Ireland isn't so draconian when it comes to female contraception. As individuals they may not approve, but aren't so crass as to ask.

Surely this is unconstitutional?

I really like the series but it is not easy viewing.

I believe it depicts slavery of the future.

It is a 'strange kettle of fish' and, I agree, it's creepy but I now find that I want to see the series out too, however, I keep waiting for an uprising.

Can't watch the series, read the book.
