Over the last couple of days there have been several posts on my watched threads but I still haven't had an email from Genes. They manage to send an email OK when subs are due!

Something odd is going on though because recently I have had several emails saying someone has added to my watched threads

I don't have the threads in question in the watch mode and when I checked they don't have the watch this ticked

I have had to tick them watch and then unwatch to clear

I check my Spam fiolder regularly and nothing is going in there, so I have taken your suggestion and unticked and reticked the watch boxes. I've also added a new thread to the list so I will wait to see what happens :-S

Vera try unchecking and re-checking the box. Have you checked they have not gone in your spam folder? :-)

getting a response or not to a tick in "Watch this" is nothing at all to do with a live person ............

it's part of the computer programme


and we all know how antiquated and unreliable the programming has become because there is no maintenance

I haven't had one of those emails for years and thought they had stopped sending them. I've just looked and the "watch this" box is checked OK. Is this another of GR's lopsided procedures - some folk get them and others don't? :-S

Do you know what .... perhaps I unchecked the watch this thread box when I had my email account hacked .... and checked it again accidentally when I've posted lol!

Perhaps it's something to do with the Email Provider and not GR then.

It's been a couple of years since I have had any! :-D

That's strange Jem as I get those all the time and haven't noticed a difference ;-) :-S
