That was so good to hear lovely LIZ on the phone yesterday afternoon..I'd had a very good day with some of the family here for dinner and putting together my new summer house then,,,the phone call,,it suddenly became an excellent day...This lovely young lady always comes over as such a warm person with a bubbly personality..A real pleasure to talk to anytime..I think it's that soft warm Norfolk accent that does it.... <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 for LIZ,,and,, ;-) ;-) ;-) <3 <3 for all of you out there in Chatland....Love ...LES...

I phoned Les at tea time, he was pleased with his summer house installation altho I think people struggled to work after their lovely lunch. He did say there was some sticky toffee pud and a piece of apple pie left if I wanted to pop over and partake but it is a bit too far for a quick visit.

Disappointingly I don't think I can go to the anniversary celebration as I have already made other arrangements that weekend, after changing things to attend the wedding in Essex. It's very nice to be in such demand lol I know Les understands and I will try to fit in a visit to Buckingham to my coz Joy and then both of us to Les later in September.

Lovely to have a laugh with Les, he's a fighter

My kids,, Hahahahahaha!!!(1 is 62--1 is 60--1 is 52 and "baby" is 50)...Anyhow they are coming at 9am with a couple of spouses and they are putting up my new summer house...It's a corner summer house,,nearly triangular but not quite..2 full length opening windows and double doors..Having it wired for light and double power points so I can work out there with my laptop...
Then there expecting little old me to cook a lamb Sunday dinner for them..I'm cheating a bit though...My pastry isn't anywhere as good as Audrey's was so I bought the apple pie,,and a Sticky Toffee Pudding and merangues for the Raspberry Pavlova.. Do you think I spoil them a bit???
Looking forward to the company I must say....
I've asked the vicar if we can put a 2 seater bench up against the hedge near Audrey's grave..There's no where to sit right at the top end of the churchyard so I hope he agrees...
Anyhow,,off to bed now...Night all...sleep tight and pleasant dreams...Love....LES... <3 <3 <3
