I am a little beetle
Scurrying across the ground
I don't want to be someone's lunch
So I try not to hang around..

I don't enjoy the sunshine
So try to keep in the shade
Underneath a nice cool rock
Is where my house is made...

I'm always very busy
But no-one seems to care
They disturb me as they walk around
"NO!! Don't put that foot there".

The humans cannot hear me
As I shout my warning clear
COR!! That was blooming close,
'Cause they didn't see me here..

So if you see me on the floor
Please stop and say "How do",,
I'm sorry if I don't stop to chat
But I'm busy,,just like you...

pinching all the pollen
from the cauliflowers

taking back the honey
to the dear old queen
