Hello

Has anyone got this model? I bought one yesterday but when I receive a text message the alert BEEP only sounds ONE time. Is there a way to increase as on all other phones I have had the Beep continue.

I have looked at online instructions but cant find anything.

I have a J3 and OH has an earlier model with a repeater, he has never found the repeater on mine and says it's not on the model as far as he can see. Sorry. :-(

Thanks for your reply. Looks like I will have to return it, I see a J5 Model wonder if this has the repeat alerts will ask in Tesco.

You can get the J5 free from some isps on a monthly contract. Free is about the right price tho Oh is happy with hers. It survived a drop into a baking mix.

OH has just gone to Tesco to return the J3 and will get a J5 £15 a month contract after 2 years goes down to £9.

Update Tesco were able to download an app to the phone and now able to get repeat alerts.

Sorted.

Thank you for the info, OH looking into finding the app for my phone. 2000 miles is a bit far to go to a Tesco's ;-)

I have up graded to J3 pay monthly wish I hadn't cant get any ring tones alerts no sound at all .think Tesco can have it back not happy at all .I contacted them & they are saying a fault in my area .but they still want my money Barbra

Why not contact PatinCyprus by Message and maybe her OH can direct you to the App. The man in Tesco did mine so don't know how/what he did, have no problem now getting alerts when rec texts.
