Has anyone used Hotel Exclusives? Is it a real money saver? Does it work?

Lots of looks, but no replies.

Although we get mail from them, we tend to decide where we'd like to go then look for an acceptable price. Oh to be spontaneous!

We booked a break at a Best Western hotel via booking.com. The BW site was charging exactly the same. You might find you can get the same or better deal by contacting the hotel direct.

It's worth checking reviews on places such as Trip Advisor. A few poor ones & you'd think it's just unfortunate. A number complaining about the same thing, and something is wrong.

Yes, Paul, but see the price then ring the hotel yourself as I have found they will usually match the offer.

I use Booking dot com most of the time as they (usually) don't need any deposit and allow you to cancel or amend right up to the departure date.

However, always check directly with the hotel, as suggested, as sometimes they can give you a better deal - especially if you have special requirements.
