Sharron it's not only jazz I enjoy..My main music is " Heavy Metal" ie Deep Purple,,Black Sabbath,,Focus etc etc..But,,there again,, I ran a Country Music Club around Oxford from 1968 to 1984..Once a month..2 live bands per meeting..As long as I have music of some form I'm reasonably happy...Is music the food of love???Who knows..It works for me.... <3 LES...

Glad you enjoyed your outing, Les and hope you can visit the garden centre when the jazz afternoons are on, even if not every month.

Take care doing the paving, don't want you laid up for your birthday.

I loved the pictures of your fairy garden, it's magical

Lovely you have found the genre of music you enjoy to be able to relax to. I would rather not listen to jazz but, when you find the music you enjoy, it can do wonders for you if you just kind of slide into it for a while.

Last Tuesday I took my best friend Suzy to Oxford for the evening..We had a lovely meal then went to the little Playhouse Theatre and had an evening of jazz with Stacey Kent and her band...My first live jazz concert since 1980...
Our local garden centre at Yarnton Oxfordshire are starting jazz afternoons from 1 till 4 on last Thursday of the month...WOW!! Got that plug in didn't I?? I'll be there but not every month...
Best get back laying the paving around my new summerhouse before the kids think I'm slacking...
