I just googled Alun Lewis and can see the likeness now. I liked him in Birds of a Feather. He took his mother's maiden name Lewis

That's sad. 73 is no age really. He's left a legacy of roles played. May he rest in peace.

Just looked, it was Cathy McGowan, with whom he had a daughter. He married again ten years after they split in 1988 but I don't see mention of more children. He was the brother of Alun Lewis, from8m Emmerdale.
