Fly :-D <3 - It doesn't matter how much I snip off they still keep growing :-D :-D ;-)
I saw GinN and Hubby on Monday and Wednesday last week and we had a smashing time. They arrived home on Wednesday night.

Pat :-D <3 It is still morning here and I have a feeling it is going to be a scorcher this afternoon. especially when I'm eating my "Empire State Burger" with French fries and onion rings. ;-) ;-) ;-)

Sorry I didn't make last night had a doggie emergency.

Came down (iron in our bedroom) and got myself a drink and sat down. OH said dog was scratching at her face could I have a look. I looked and couldn't see anything. OH wet an old towel to hold on her face to cool her. She went and lay down behind the small table so couldn't see her properly. She then stood up as OH started to go upstairs and her hair on the top of her head had tufts standing up. I told OH and he looked at her and remarked how odd it was. As I looked at her her face started to swell. I looked at her face/tongue/eyes head - when I got to the ears I found small blisters. Phoned vets - only up the road. Told them I thought she was having an allergic reaction - told to bring her in straight away. By the time she was in the surgery she was scratching at all her body, we protected her face by putting her muzzle on. Given injections and the itching abated but swelling took hours to go down. She looked like a Staffie. :-0 She felt sorry for herself so I sat with her all evening with her head on my lap. She's fine now - may have been a bee/wasp sting. Nothing new in her diet/walk or our garden.

By the way she weighs 21 kg.

Poor us Fly, she's back to normal. Playing and going in and out of the garden, we're watching her like hawks. :-S

She's quiet now as she sleeps during the afternoon. She seem to have forgotten all about it. We'll see next week - it's her MOT time. :-0

Like you say she may have been stung <3

That's the conclusion the vets made - had three of them taking care of her. She didn't eat whatever it was, checked her tongue first and it wasn't swelling, her tongue never did swell thankfully.

Above her eyes became swollen and formed a ridge, almost closed her eyes. That swelling went down reasonably quickly. :-(

Hope little Fly is well. Don't think he's as heavy as our one. Now you know why she doesn't sit on my lap.

Our last dog, on his hind legs, was taller than me - go on say it - that's not difficult :-D
