2 years ago he had his pacemaker removed and a defib put in it's place..All seemed well till his monitor at home started alerting the hospital something was wrong..6 times in the past 10 months..Each time came up faulty reading during the night..They decided to change it..5/6 hour op on the cards...After 3 cancellations he went into Guy's Hospital for 6 am yesterday morning for 8am op..1st on the list he thought great..At 9am still sitting on his bed and told a machine in his theatre had broken down...Technician on his way..2pm still waiting,,technician still not arrived..Now they tell him his op will probably ,,only probably mind,,be tomorrow,,if not then Monday..He can't go back home as it will be classed as a cancelled op and he'll have to go through the whole procedure again..I feel so useless as I can't help him anyway...
Sorry to lumber all of you with this but I had to talk to someone,,and,,as your all my best friends,,who else could I turn to....Bless you all for being there...
Other than that it's a lovely day here in Oxfordshire so thanks for all your sunshine smiles..Their working well..... <3 <3 <3 to you all.....LES...

Oh Les what a problem but it's better to be safe than sorry. Not very helpful for your brother though. With a bit of luck it'll be sooner rather than later.

Try not to worry - easier said than done.

We don't mind being lumbered we all need someone to help us. You have lots of friends here.

Enjoy the sunshine I sent to UK - I like sharing.

:-D :-D <3 <3

Darned annoying for him because he probably got all Psyched up to get the job done

But at least he is in hospital and if he has any problems he is being monitored

Let's hope he gets it done sooner than later with a succesfull result

Really frustrating for him Les but better to stay put and lay claim to the bed. Hopefully they can fix the problem and it will soon be sorted. You can come and talk to us any time as you know :-) : <3
