I assume you want a birth, marriage or death certificate.

Go here

https://www.gro.gov.uk/gro/content/certificates/menu.asp

This is the General Register Office (known on here as GRO) and a certificate costs £9.25 that includes p&p anywhere in the world. Do not go via the companies that offer to get the certs for you they hike up their prices. The GRO is the cheapest.

Can anyone please tell me how I go about getting a certificate? Iv looked all over this site but can't find anything. Do I need to go to another site? Jane x
