Well I suppose there's London and then there's Greater London!

What areas do the actual town cover?

When I drove to London taking my MIL we had booked a hotel in Kensington, don't remember which way we entered the City but we were going round and round this big roundabout deciding where to get off..we were dizzy...it took over an hour to get to the hotel.....and we were less than 2 miles away apparently

I used to live in Middlesex which as a county no longer exists. It is still part of our postal address. :-S

It's the same with us. When I was little, we lived in the County of Carmarthenshire.
Some years later they changed the boundaries and called it Dyfed.

After a lot of years we became Carmarthenshire again, which I always preferred, particularly as I was born in Carmarthen and lived there until I was 8.

But we still have correspondence with Dyfed on
