My Great Great Grandfather was born in Hertfordshire but moved to Islington probably cos of work. He was a clerk at Somerset House. There was also a connection to London through another branch of the family, with the same surname.

From Islington they went to Chiswick were he lived all the rest of his life.
There's a link to Clerkenwell and St Pancras as well as Bloomsbury

It's the same with us. When I was little, we lived in the County of Carmarthenshire.
Some years later they changed the boundaries and called it Dyfed.

After a lot of years we became Carmarthenshire again, which I always preferred, particularly as I was born in Carmarthen and lived there until I was 8.

But we still have correspondence with Dyfed on
