How great Ann. Your giver (was it P.?) must be feeling very good about spreading such happiness.

Make us all jealous by telling us what the books are called and then telling us about them.

Are they historical? Mystery? Crime? or a combination of two or more o?

Happy reading and well done Ms Kiwi whoever you are.

That is a lovely thing to do and will give the sender as much pleasure as you knowing that you appreciate the thought.

There are still a lot of nice ,caring people in the world.
An example we have experienced here in North .Wales.

A friend of mine who has a caravan near me was out shopping with her husband who is rather frail having had cancer operations, when he fell over a sign. There was a paramedic nearby and he treated ,then a nurse stopped by ,and took them to hospital for checkup.they Have been invited to lunch tomorrow at the paramedics house..Isn't that nice.

It's lovely to hear good news rather than doom and gloom we get a lot of these days

Yes, so thoughtful and no the postage was not cheap. I feel very grateful, a simple gesture from somebody I have never met unfortunately. Actually words can't express what I feel right now. :-) :-) :-) <3 <3 <3 <3 <3

I have just had a really lovely surprise which has really made my day. I was in the kitchen, clearing up and pondering on the important things in life like what to put on the shopping list. And half grumbling to myself because OH is at golf meaning when we go for the shopping later it will be more crowded, when the postman knocked the door. I was not expecting anything and was puzzled to be handed a largish packet, from New Zealand.

To cut a long story short, the packet contained a series of 3 paperbacks which a lovely ex GR friend had found in a second hand shop and posted to me. Not novels that are available in UK

I am really touched that she should have thought of me and bothered to go to the trouble of finding my address and sending them to me. If she reads this she will know who she is, so, I guess will whoever supplied the address :-D :-D. I have PM'd and thanked her personally. But, aren't people wonderful and how pleased I am that I ever joined GR and made so many lovely friends all over the world. <3 <3 <3 <3
