Insert the rubber according to the thickness of the rod.

Don't you just love flat packs?

I am usually really good at putting such things together, but do not ever buy a pine blanket box and think that the 'one person, 90 minutes' assembly time is feasible... two people for some of it, and an awful lot of bad language for the rest :-) Who has such tiny knuckles that can fit in corners without being scraped when you're using a screwdriver?

LOL! My hubby has a trying time interpreting their instructions, then gives up and tries to fly solo with even less success!! He has become a dab hand assembling their bookcases though. He needed so many he got plenty of practice! :-D Good luck!

I worked for Habitat back in the mid/late 70s so thought I was a dab hand with flat packs.

In the 80's I married and we bought a flat pack kitchen from MFI.....I cannot believe how many times we went back to the store to replace missing, misaligned or broken parts :-(
Unbelievably it lasted well!

One of my last tasks at Habitat c1982 was to put together a flat packed wall unit for display. It took six of us a whole day to get it upright, it was huge! I cannot imagine how a couple or single person who ordered it would have coped:-D

If there is a difference in the thickness of the rod - it's probably fluted.
Put the thinnest end of the rubber down the widest part of the rod.

They usually come out looking like they should have wheels and a crooked chimney.
