People always ask me if I am not afraid I will drown as if it would be possible to stay asleep with a nose full of water.

A lady I knew had a son who was a achondroplastic (?) dwarf and she had to sit in the bathroom when he was in the bath because he would drop off and, at his height, he may not have been able to elevate his head .

I have been known to doze off in the bath lol

I am glad you feel safe in your bath and won't drown, Sharron. I wasn't suggesting you were drugged.

No Liz, I am just not scared of drowning.

The moment water goes into your nose you are wide awake and I am tall enough to be able to push myself up with my foot.

I don't even understand why people think I might drown in the bath, I am not heavily drugged.

Have I missed something here or are you just not scared of drowning, Sharron?

There's whole thread in itself there, Lavender oil in places it's not meant for :-D

Interesting sleeping arrangements but whatever normally works....

I have tried lavender oil in places that lavender oil was never meant for I am sure.

It is quite surprising the pillows have not rotted.

Aww - a cup of tea in the bath!!

Have you tried lavender oil in the bedroom?

Ever since I would spend the night listening out for Fred and then drop off when he was up and busy and I was in the bath with the lavender, I can't get in the bath without dropping off and excellent sleep it is too.

I have a position where my head is kind of propped up on the end of the bath and my knee is up I think. Can't really think of how I do it, I just do.

A couple of weeks ago, I couldn't sleep. OH got up at 4 and woke me. Not having dropped off again at 5.30, I decided I would get in the bath so he had plenty of time later to prepare himself to go across the road to the osteopath at 11 am. I couldn't sleep so would not be long any way.

He woke me with a cup of tea at ten when he came in to get his gear to go down to the wet room for his shower.

Have you run out of beds Sharron?

Erm! Why were you face down in the bath, let alone asleep?

I had always thought that stress was what was making me fat and since working on alleviating the stress in my life my body mass has altered.

This morning, for the second time, I was sleeping, face down in the bath and , when I woke up and went to move, my left hip was stuck to the bottom of the bath by suction.

Now that is something I have never experienced before!
