My o.h.has had both his done this summer and ir's helped him at work and at home. He had prescription sun glasses so we had to stop off and get new plain ones straight away.

Thank you all for your messages. I can see a lot better already so hope it lasts. Have the other eye done next year according to optician.

Am needing sun glasses in the bright sunshine.

What I am dreading is having 8 teeth out on 20th Sept. I will be a quivering wreck although they are going to sedate me.

Hope you are all well and that your check up BrendafromWales, goes OK for you.

I had my second eye done 2 weeks ago and can't praise the service I had too much.drinks ,choice of sandwiches ,relaxed atmosphere.
I am back on Monday for my check up .
Can't get used to not wearing glasses yet and find things a bit too bright, but will see what they say.
We only hear the bad things about the NHS but good news doesn't always make the media.
Hope you are doing well Phyll. <3

That's good to hear, and will save you an anxious waiting time. I hope that you will make a good recovery and begin to see much clearer soon Phyll.

Brilliant! :-D :-D

Think how much money is wasted by people not turning up for appointments :-|
By accepting those cancelled places, you saved them money :-D :-D

Went for a pre=assessment for a cataract removal this morning. Had the op this afternoon due to the fact they had a cancellation whilst I was there.
