Hi, trying to find the final resting place of James Helliwell my great great grandmothers husband. (her second marriage- Dinah Johnson/Littlewood)
James Helliwell was born in 1816 possibly Surcoats?
Baptised in Leeds Parish Church.
Death 1860 4th quarter, showing Leeds. yet he and the family lived in Stansfield and Cornholme Todmorden?
James and Dinah lived in Todmorden (originally Leeds) they married at Leeds Parish church-St.Peters on the 27/Oct /1844.
I have a picture of Dinah's grave stone and on it, it says wife of James Helliwell of Sowerby Bridge, but he is not on the stone. His father is William Helliwell. Hope someone can help. thanks. Val.

Why not buy James' death certificate? That'll tell you where he died and possibly where he was living at the time.
You can then search cemeteries & records fanning out from that address.

Hi, Thought about it but so far I have found conflicting dates and places for his death, dates more so, the only thing I could order would be 1860, not sure if that would be enough.
Thanks. Val.

There's several deaths between 1851 and.1861 Todmorden reg district

Did they have children during that period if so that would narrow down a death from the birth of the last child
