I had a couple of spots on mine and they were quite nicely displayed.

We went to Burnley the next day (because we know how to live!) and nobody even glanced at it, which surprised me, not even a surreptitious little shufty.

You underestimate the appetite of the old biddies. They can all eat their own bodyweight in cake. There would be none left for competitive purposes.

Good of you to tell us about your bra.

Feel good or look good, the age old struggle that has me putting on a bra when I go out lol ( not that it makes me "look good" just less.... :-)

If you want to raise some money again, why not exploit all those old biddies and do a bake off event? Ask them to pay to enter and give the winner a prize ( someone here may like to donate? or volunteer to be the taster lol ) but also sell their bakes afterwards. You know how bakers like to think they can make a 'better cake than her next door' lol,

Because it makes me look like that bloke in the Catherine Tate show, "Who dear, me dear, gay dear, no dear." and it does not look right at all but it does feel so good!

You can have no hair if you wish, regardless of whether anyone sponsors it. men have been doing it for years (so have a few women). Why not, if you want to?

No Sharron, we should be thanking you.If you decide to go through with it again or indeed any other fund raiser for this very worthy cause just let me know and I will always donate to this as it is a charity very close to my heart,

Since you all sponsored me to have my head shaved and I still am saying thank you.

I would do it again if I thought it would have the same impact but, of course, it would not. It was a good experience having no hair and I would stay hairless all the time if I could. S'pose I am lucky to have the choice!
