Yes, cats are joyous things, so sensitive and comforting!!

I'm having trouble getting comfortable in bed with my sore ribs.
Fortunately George has taken to sleeping in the spare room, so I have all the bed to kick around in, and get comfortable.

...except - he's decided, after I've been in bed for about an hour, that I need his 'tender' care, so he jumps on the bed - and walks over my chest to get to the other side of me :-| :-| :-|

If I was asleep - I am no more :-( :-(

Heard all that before! Don't believe a word of it.

Poor Fred, having to sit on the floor, well I expect the cat was happy :-D. I don't think we will have any more cats after these have expired but we shall see

Aaaw, now I'm miserable. The pussy died.

We have been approved for cats from the local cat rescue but she said the feral might stop coming if we had another one.

Fred hated cats which will be why he would sit on the floor if the cat was in his chair I suppose.

Desmond used to ride on the wheelchair (Daddy's taxi).

:-D :-D :-D :-D :-D. Ours was the opposite unfortunately. The vet and I thought he was just being a pig eating the others food but poor soul had a tumour and died in his sleep 3 weeks ago. My daughter and the kids were heartbroken as he was such a lovely boy.
The oldest here is a tortoiseshell very vocal and now 14 and still as feisty as ever and little boy is 6 and half Siamese and half Bengal hence his dog like qualities if that's what you can call them :-)

I have only ever acquired one deliberately. Pussy Cooking Fat was a very sick little boy who turned up in my garden and cost me mega in vets bills, Tommy was from the RSPCA and I am still waiting for my home visit from them (since 1996!), Idi came to eat the hedgehog food and Desmond was also a hedgehog for a time.

There is a woman down the road who looks out for animals and she was telling me how she had been trying to catch a black cat up the road. She thought it must have gone and died in a ditch somewhere because it had a big stomach tumour.

Well this big black cat disappeared about the time big black Idi moved into my house and I took on the task of filling that big empty tumour every day. That was his big dangly belly.

Walking down the avenue ? ;-) :-D :-D.
It sounds as though that might be the case Sharron :-).
We have now gone down from 4 to 2 and that is more than enough. All of them were not mine but they were left behind when my daughter moved up north so I am their adopted Mum :-D :-D :-D

My Desmond was like that. We always said we had a six legged creature in our house, a meandmond.

There were no discreet visits to the loo, he was usually outside in case anybody didn't know where I was. Otherwise, we kept his dirt box in there, he would come in and have one as well, very companionable!

Let's hope it will be me and my Shadow soon.

You can have my youngest :-D, He thinks he is a dog, forever wanting a fuss and follows me everywhere getting under my feet. :-D

Sharron Report 14 Sep 2017 11:36

I don't think he will go from under a hedge to a sofa, he has not yet, as far as I know, ventured beyond the kitchen.

We have such a big bed now that we need some cats!

LaGooner

LaGooner Report 14 Sep 2017 11:31

None of hours has ever liked a box or basket they prefer a comfy sofa or our bed :-D.

Sharron

Sharron Report 14 Sep 2017 11:25

There is a cat bed next to his bowl, one of those domed jobs that I bought. He probably doesn't know what it is so I thought I might put a cushion in a cardboard box and see if that might inspire him to get in and have a snuggle.

LaGooner

LaGooner Report 14 Sep 2017 11:10

Yep they sure do. Mine can be a pain but I love them dearly :-D
