Hi again,

I'm still struggling with the search through Scottish records for William Pringle Miller Dods born around 1847 to a John Dods (marriage certificate arrived this morning). I've bought credits on Scotlands People, but I can't find him on there, and do those credits really expire after 24hours?!! This is getting very expensive :-(

Please help me, I'm stuck on this one, and it's driving me mad ha ha

Thank you as always
Jo

Remember Scottish families tend to use surnames of previous generation in their names....so there's Pringles and Millers in that tree somewhere. :)

Remember too that Scottish bmds didnt start till 1855 so you won't find a birth for him

Maybe a parish record of his baptism if it took place and has been uploaded to the site
