Hi I am looking for help to use the discs. I get as far as full list of the surnames I am looking for, but when I highlight the one I wish to expand Iget the following registry load error.
"Unable to find registry information
Key=1881 British Census
Unable to Change Titles
Reinstall the 1881 British Census to repair the registry"
Can anyone please help

Ancestry, FMP and GR all give free online access to the 1881 England snd Waled census.

How old is your disk set, which windows version?

Hi I've tried windows 10 /7/vista and XP. The discs are about 15 years old , I think. Thanks, Hal

they should work with XP.
It can be quite a fiddle getting this old stuff working. It is not really worth the hassle unless the program provides special functions or fun.
In this case the online free 1881 census is yr best bet.
